Finding out sex of your baby early or wait until its born?

Since the advances in technology, this question - do you want to find out the sex of your baby? Has rolled on as a debate for couples, friends and family alike.

Why should you find out?
For some getting pregnant and then discovering they are is all the surprise they need. For others the true excitement of finding out early is part of the pregnancy, so they can pick clothes and furniture.

Why should you wait?
It's the anticipation, the guessing. its one last surprise in this world that no one can take away.

The trouble with waiting is you have to put up with unisex clothing, themes and a certain amount might have to wait until the babies born. The trouble with knowing is you loose that surprise when he or she pops out, because you already know.

I'm sure the debate will run and run, but the main point in all of this is, you will have a beautiful baby, no matter the sex and that can never be taken away.

Easter kids photoshoot

A friend of mine came up with a great suggestion that will excite and benefit both child and parent over the Easter period with time to kill. In this modern world of digital photography, and people of all ages wanting to have a collection of photographs that show us all growing up, why not treat the kids to a photo-shoot, they will have a ball, my friend took his little girl to andybrownphotography, she loved every minute in front of the camera. The plus is you (the parent) get some great pictures at the end to cherish forever as well as your kids having fun. All details for a great few hours of fun are in the image below.

The best place to get hold of andybrownphotography is type him in Facebook and go from there.

Spring, why we love it...

It's the time of year that takes away those dark early nights and cold grey days. Replacing them with a fresh, bright, warming that's depicted by bright spring daffodils. The smell of freshly cut grass. The bumble bees first buzz. Excited children enjoying the fresh air. All coming together to form our true starting point to the year ahead.

Gardens at this time of year fill up with the hope of what's to come in the year.
Our kids can spend there first real days of the year running around the lawn, without the shouts of "you'll get muddy" or "it's to wet to play out." while the grown ups dust off the cobwebs from favourite chairs and tables, bringing them out of there winter resting places, catching the first rays of the year, hoping they will be, well used this year.

Hopeful gardeners begin their new year, admiring spring bulbs as they fulfil their short but very important life. They add the first bursts of colour into the garden. This in turn gives the gardener the belief and hope that they need to start the gardening year all over again, hoping and praying it will be better than the last.

So, will this spring bring with it a year to remember?
Will it bring a long hot summer?
We all know what we want these answers to be, and for these few bright warming weeks, after the clocks spring forward, we all believe it will be.
